Doing This During His Busiest year
“From the beginning, I truly didn’t believe I had 30 pounds to drop but I appreciate you for the approach you helped me take on this 7 month journey. I learned a ton.
I finally learned how to portion control and learned that I don’t have to eat all my food until I am stuffed, especially when eating out. You taught me how to think about nutrition and exercise in a whole new light, and how discipline and consistency can carry you a long way. Most importantly, I have no doubt these ‘lessons’ will carry me for years to come.
To be honest, people congratulate me on what I’ve achieved and. While it’s great to hear and I do appreciate it, I don’t think this is the hardest thing I’ve done. That’s what makes working with you guys so great. You made it “easier” for getting into the best shape of my life to be incorporated during some of the busiest months of my life: especially during residency, when I took 14 flights in 1 month, traveled all across the US for weddings, celebrations, etc, did a surgical mission trip in India, traveled with family to Portugal and moved to a new city in Chicago – all in 7 months. Despite it not being the hardest thing I’ve done – it is certainly among THE BEST things I’ve done for myself.”
Robin, after years of dedicating himself to his studies and training in medical school, residency, and further training, found himself at a crossroads. As he neared the end of his residency, he began to feel a sense of emptiness and a lack of fulfilment. Despite all of his hard work and dedication, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.
It was during this time that he stumbled upon the idea of KMAK training. He had seen the incredible transformations that others had undergone through this intense physical training program, and he was inspired to try it for himself. He knew that it would be a challenging journey, but he was determined to push himself to the limit.
Doubts And Hesitations
He had always been interested in fitness and health, but with his busy schedule as a resident, he had never been able to fully commit to a fitness program. He had heard about online coaching, but he was hesitant about its effectiveness, especially since he was always on the go.
Despite his doubts, he decided to give it a try. He was drawn to the flexibility and convenience of online coaching, and he knew that it would allow him to continue working with busy people. As he progressed through the program, he began to see changes in his body. He was able to stick to the programme despite his busy schedule and the amount of travelling he was doing. He felt more energised and confident, and he found that he was able to spend more time hanging out with his residents and travelling.
Despite his initial hesitations, Robin found that online coaching was the perfect fit for him. He was able to achieve his fitness goals while still being able to pursue his other interests. He realised that with the right mindset and the right program, anything is possible.
His fitness journey was a challenging but ultimately rewarding experience. He learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way that he would like to share:
- You can still enjoy social events and hangouts while being mindful of your food intake. People shouldn’t miss out on getting to know other people and enjoying food, but they should also be careful not to eat too much.
- Consistency is key, especially when it comes to protein intake. Maintaining a consistent level of protein intake can help support muscle growth and recovery.
- Adaptability is crucial, especially when travelling. Being able to adapt to different environments and situations is important when trying to maintain a fitness routine.
- Trust the people who have already done fitness transformations before. They have already gone through the process and can provide valuable advice and support.
- Losing weight can be more challenging than expected, but it is important to set realistic goals and not to compare oneself to others. Everyone’s journey is different, and it is important to focus on your own progress.
He was able to lose 30 pounds by following these lessons, and he was proud of his transformation. He felt confident, energised, and fulfilled. He was happy to have taken on this physical challenge and was looking forward to continuing his journey of self-improvement.
Losing A Lot More Weight Than You Think
As Robin began his fitness journey, he had a specific weight-loss goal in mind. However, as he progressed through his training and nutrition program, he soon realised that the weight loss process was not as straightforward as he had initially thought.
At first, he was disheartened by the slow progress, but then he learned an important lesson: it’s not just about the numbers on the scale. He began to focus on how he felt and how his body was changing, rather than just the number on the scale.
He also realised that everyone’s journey is different and that it was important to focus on his own progress. He was determined not to compare his weight and height to others’, as everyone has different body types and genetics. Instead, he focused on being realistic and setting achievable goals for himself.
Noticing The Changes
He was excited to see the changes in his body. However, he quickly learned that progress would not happen overnight. He noticed small changes in his body weekly, but it wasn’t until 6–8 weeks into the programme that he began to see real results. He was encouraged by these initial changes and continued to push himself.
As he progressed further into the program, around 2-3 months in, he began to see even more significant changes. His clothes started to fit him perfectly, and he could see the definition in his muscles. He was thrilled to see the progress he had made and was motivated to continue pushing himself.
