How Dr. Mithil Turned Long Hours and Stress Into Structure and Strength
If you had asked Mithil a few years ago whether he would ever feel disconnected from his fitness again, he probably would not have believed you.
Growing up, he was the “fat kid.” By high school and college, he completely flipped the script. He transformed his physique, became an athlete, and built confidence through discipline and structure. That version of him carried through medical school, where fitness and health were still non negotiables.
Then residency happened.
Long hours. Stress. Exhaustion. Days off that turned into recovery from burnout rather than movement. Slowly, the habits that once felt automatic started slipping. Stress eating crept in. Energy dropped. Before he knew it, Mithil was about 25 pounds heavier than his usual weight and struggling to reclaim the physique and mindset he once had.
Now, as an ER physician, business owner, and father to a highly energetic daughter, the disconnect became impossible to ignore.
This was no longer just about aesthetics. It was about energy, longevity, and being the kind of role model his daughter could learn from.

Goals Coming Into KMAK
Mithil alongside his wife Kruti, joined KMAK and he did not come in with vague goals. He knew exactly what he wanted.
• Build a visible six pack and look athletic again
• Deadlift 300 lbs for 8 reps
• Feel sharper, lighter, and more energetic day to day
• Complete the NJ photoshoot
• Begin board certification in Obesity Medicine so he could better help his own patients by practicing what he preaches
But more importantly, he wanted a plan that actually fit his life.
His biggest roadblocks were not motivation or knowledge. They were lack of structure and the belief that he did not have enough time to do this properly.

The Turning Point
Although Mithil had always gone to the gym, consistency was the missing piece.
Once inside KMAK, that changed quickly.
For the first time, training had structure, progression, and accountability. Week by week coaching helped him lock in proper form, refine movement patterns, and train with intent rather than just showing up.
One of his biggest initial concerns was whether online coaching could actually address form and execution.
That doubt disappeared fast.
Real time feedback, constant check-ins, and weekly adjustments ensured his form stayed dialed in and his lifts progressed safely and efficiently.

Nutrition and Energy Shifts
The biggest surprise was nutrition.
Instead of restriction, Mithil learned how to eat with awareness and flexibility. Foods he thought he would have to give up were still there, just in moderation and with intention.
As his nutrition leveled up, so did everything else.
• Energy became consistent throughout the day
• Sleep quality improved
• Stress eating reduced dramatically
• Cravings became easier to manage
• Daily movement increased without feeling forced
He quickly realized that weight loss was not about spending endless hours in the gym. It was about alignment between training, nutrition, steps, sleep, and structure.
And that shift changed how he viewed health not just for himself, but for his future patients too.

Life Beyond the Gym
What stood out most for Mithil was that KMAK did not demand perfection.
There was flexibility. Family events, holidays, busy work weeks, and real life were all accounted for. Seeing other busy professionals and parents succeed inside the program made it clear that this was sustainable.
Beyond fitness, he picked up skills that translated into every area of life.
Discipline. Time batching. Planning. Efficiency.
Even if life throws a curveball in the future, Mithil now has the tools to course correct instead of starting over.
And perhaps most meaningful of all, his daughter gets to see this process unfold.
Daily walks. Healthier meals. Parents who prioritize movement and energy. Subtle habits that can shape an entire generation.

Where He Is Headed
Mithil is not chasing a short term transformation.
He sees himself staying fit long term, competing in athletic races, continuing to get stronger, and maintaining a six pack years from now. Most importantly, he wants to keep up with his daughter’s energy as she grows.
For anyone on the fence, his advice is simple.
You will see real strides within the first month. Believe in yourself. Take the leap of faith.
