Michael Abraham is not new to fitness.

One of Michael’s biggest fears going in was food.

 

He enjoys eating and worried that joining a structured program would mean being hungry all the time. In the beginning, that fear felt real. As he learned the routine and adjusted his habits, hunger was part of the learning curve.

 

But once rhythm and structure were established, everything changed.

 

Instead of restriction, Michael learned balance.

 

He dramatically increased his vegetable intake, which made a significant difference in both hunger and consistency. One of his favorite examples of how ingrained these habits became is simple but powerful. His family now carries baby carrots everywhere. To work, on trips, even on planes.

The biggest educational breakthrough for Michael was learning how macros actually work. For years, he believed that simply eating more protein would fix everything. Through coaching, he learned that protein matters, but balance matters just as much. Understanding how all macros work together was the missing piece he had never been taught.

Life Beyond the Gym

 

Outside of fitness, Michael is a neurointerventional radiologist based in Kansas City, Missouri, performing minimally invasive procedures in the brain and neck. He has been married for nearly 12 years and is a proud father to two sons, ages nine and six. As a family, they are deeply involved in soccer and spend much of their time together.

 

He also has a creative side. Writing music and playing guitar has been a major passion of his since his mid-twenties.

 

His fitness journey now supports all of it. His energy, confidence, and presence extend far beyond the gym.

 

    

 

What’s Next

 

Michael’s initial goal was to reach his ideal physique within a year. Now that he has built a strong foundation, his next phase is focused on continuing with KMAK and potentially shifting into a muscle-building phase.
